"I have decided to utilize the PVL system for all engines due to the reliability and ease of tuning we have experienced over the past few years we have used it -- cost is more but I think in this case you get what you pay for -- I will not offer the Briggs option.

What does that mean?? I'm not familiar with the PVL system. But in the picture is says Briggs. Is this made by Briggs or someone else for Briggs?

Beautiful Lynn !! ... baby rhino had the valves angled towards the bore and seemed to run a lot better than those that didn't have them but it ruined the motor as far as trying to make a 3.25 later down the road , this 3.5 will be sweet

PVL is a German company they make it for Briggs for the animal based OHV engines. ARC made a flywheel to adapt it to the flatheads. PVL also makes the new black coil for JR.

The PVL setup has about 2.5x the mJ output of the standard Briggs coils and has electronic advance built in.

Lynn,
Is/has anyone run this in Outlaw? What has been feedback/results? Just curious how it is working.

I am working on putting together a couple of these units in a bracket configuration -- detuned for 7.90 use / smaller cam and carb -- anyone interested give a shout -- 423--698-0847
