If I wouldn't have bad luck.......

Well made it out to the track, no rainout, weather looked great. Got the car ready, had Jules go warmup the car by taking a little lap around the back road course @NPR. Told him while he was out to test the transbrake. He gets back we chat a little and I found out he didn't test the transbrake, so I told him to get back in the car and go do that. Just wanted to make sure after the Procube box was fried and now repaired that we were ok. So he starts up the car and starts to back out and the engine dies, no sputter, just goes silent. Told him to start it up and the engine just spins, no pop,no sputter. Kinda stumped Jules said maybe I flooded it, I told him I doubt it , seems like it's not getting any fire to me. Break out the volt meter and I don't see where there is any power getting to the coil. Went talk to a couple of other guys and they come check also, seems we have power at the MSD box but it's not making it back to the coil? Decided to check wiring, don't see nothing broken or disconnected. Since we had the voltage problem that fried the Procube, we are kinda worried something got also fried in MSD box, not really sure at this point. Going to see if I can get some more experienced eyes on it. Packed everything up and headed back home...

Been there a few times. It really sux. MSD boxes are odd. I have seen folks check them and they check bad. Send them off to MSD, they say it is good but somehow it starts working again once it is received back from them.
