What size fuel pump (gph) do I need to feed a 580 big block? It should be close to 900HP.
Thanks
Gus

I run a aeromotive A2000 with a by-pass regulator. You can call Jerry Dooley at Advanced Product Design. His cell # 678-330-5730. They are the real deal when it comes to carbs, gas or alky. I have a aeromotive 2000 pump I think the guy wants to sell.

I've purchased a Aeromotive A2000 from a good friend. I know it will provide enough fuel. It is allmost new and it really good condition. I was going to buy a new pump and wanted to know what size of a pump it would take but the used A2000 was too good of a deal to pass up!!
Thanks
Gus

I run a aeromotive fuel filter before the pump and they told me to run a bypass regulator instead of bypassing at the pump.

I'm going to use my bypass regulator that is mounted on the top-front of the motor and deadhead the bypass at the pump. I have a filter but it is between the pump and the regulator. I might be able to squeeze in a filter befor the pump but will require some major replumbing.

Mine plummed in pretty good. That is the way mine is dead headded at the pump.
