THANKS WILD BILL

As this seems to come up every now and again and I need a way to repay everyone for all the help I've gotten here I tought I'ld put toghter what I hope to be a step by step HOW TO on capturing, resizing, and posting graphs and pics.

I will focus on graphs but posting a graph but the resizing and posting of pics is done in the same manner so this should cover everything.

First let's start with the tools needed to get the job done. You will need an image resizng prgram and a site to host your pics on. I use http://photobucket.com/ for hosting and http://www.download.com/FastStone-Image-Viewer/3000-2192_4-10324485.html for resizng. Both are free and easy to use.

The first step is to open the graph on you PC. once you have the graph you wish to post on the screen press the CONTROL and PRNT/SCREEN buttons at the same time. I know, it looks like nothing happened but it did. This saves a screen shot of what was on your monitor.

Now go to your desktop and open PAINT. Select EDIT then PASTE.

You should now see your graph pasted in PAINT like this.

Now select FILE then SAVE AS

That will bing up the box where title the pic and select how you want the file saved. SAve the file in MY PICS and be sure you give it a file name you can find save the file as a JPEG. If you don't save it as a JPEG it will not appear as a pic later.

Now that your graph is saved as a pic we can move to resizing. Open FastStone-Image-Viewer and click on the pic you need resized. Then click the resize button iat the top.

On this screen you only need to lower the number in the first box and it will automaticlly change the second.

Press OK and then select your next pic to resize and it will ask you to save changes. If you want to save the original pic before it was resized simply change the file name at this time.

Now were ready to upload them to PHOTOBUCKET. Select the CHOOSE FILES icon

Select the files you wish to upload

They will start automaticlly and you should asee this when they are being uploaded

Once uploaded select the pic and click on the small box to the left of the tittle and the pic will become highlighted. Selecting more than one will allow you to post multiple pics in one post.

Once you have your pics selected scroll down to the bottm of the page and click on the GENERATE HTML AND IMG CODES button.

A new screen will appear. Find the box IMG images for message boards
Highlight and CUT everthing in the box.

Now right click in the TEXT box and PASTE

UBB codes are allready in the text when it appears.

When you preveiw your post, you should see the pic/graph as long as you don't check the Disable BBCode in this post box just under the TEXT box.

Click SUBMITT and your done.

I hope I didn't leave anything out lol
