Wally-brides maid!

Postby jtracr » Tue Jun 12, 2018 10:24 pm

Well we have 4 kids that have all Jr raced. The older 3 have been fortunate enough to win multiple Wally's. My youngest though is a little different story. She has been racing a little over 3 years now. She has quite a few wins but not when it comes to Wally races. As a matter of fact she has made it into 9 finals for Wally's BUT ended up runner up at ALL of them. I am pretty sure it will happen, but the question is when? It is getting to be sort of a game counting the runner ups!

Well I guess when she does finally win one it will make it that much more special! We have a few more shots for 2018, if not then I guess we start all over for 2019 and just try again!

We had kind of the opposite experience... The one win my son has was for a Wally, many runner ups in other races though. The Wally thing is funny, because he occasionally reminds me that in all the years I've been racing.. No wally. So sometimes he asks me if I want to hold his, ha ha smiley-lol

My daughter does have one of the JDRL Challenge Wallys but look at my signature, always a bridesmaid for a big one.
